Multitasking human beings, bizarre creatures and protean objects, are melted together in extremely surreal and dark atmospheres, built through a complex mechanism of mind and an almost obsessive attention to detail. These are some of the basic ingredients of absurd situations, full of hidden meanings, of the eccentric artworks by
Luca Loiudice.
The young visual artist, born in Italy in 1984, creates a mix between real and surreal, with his own visionary style influenced by cartoons, surrealism and lowbrow art movement. After several exhibitions in Europe, Australia and United States, the artist presents his work at the Hong Kong audience with his first solo exhibition in Asia: The ironic side of dark paper dreams.
