Phil Hayes is going to have his 2nd solo exhibition at ufo Gallery in Hong Kong, following his first show “Australese” held last year.

Phil Hayes has been making and exhibiting art for more than 20 years. He has exhibited all over the world, including Australia, Belgium, France, Poland, Japan and Hong Kong, in group shows and solo exhibitions.

Australian born and bred, Phil has worked in the surf industry as an Artist and Designer for the worlds biggest surf companies, Rip Curl and Quiksilver. He is now the Vice President of Global Research and Development for Quiksilver International based in Hong Kong.

Phil’s current artworks are based on his move from Australia to Hong Kong with the cultural and iconic differences between the two places. You can see a wide range of his paintings and artworks on canvas, surfboards and traditional mailboxes with Mao and Bruce Lee juxtaposed with Australian wildlife, road signs and surfers.
